I joined VIBE Fitness when it arrived to Rialto 2 years ago. I have not left. If you are ready to challenge yourself while learning the “whys” for doing certain exercises or using certain weights, the proper form, importance of rest, nutritional tips and recipesall while developing a community of knowledge, friends and family..this is the SPOT. Gino is very passionate about developing, not only a healthy body, but he is adamant about positive energy and a positive mind. His motto in the beginning was to work toward “1% better” each workout.
2yrs ago I began with Gino as my personal trainer. It was a long journey. It was difficult, tiring, frustrating and emotional. It was CHALLENGING. It was rewarding. It was rarely fun. Flipping tires, dragging weighted sleds, battle ropes, balance exercises, sprints, bear crawls, weight lifting, PT tests, squats, push-ups, squats, push-ups, squats push-ups, just to name a few.(did I say squats and push-ups).
But the results came in positive. Although I had lost weight before Gino, my weight continued to decline and my strength level increased. My form and body structure was noticeably different. People were asking questions! It was funny and it felt good to see that people were noticing this woman! I am still continuing my journey with VIBE Fitness/Gino. I am now working in a small group(no more than 6 people). It’s great. It does become competitive sometimes, but that’s good, right?
So if you are looking to change your LIFE style including fitness, eating and emotional status…feel good about yourself and be healthy..try it out. Go for the challenge of “1% better”.
“Mother, Wife, and Academic Professor"
In April of 2014 I made what turned out to be the best decision as far as my fitness life goes. I joined VIBE FITNESS! I have been a Zumba (R) Instructor for 4 years and lost 30 pounds of weight prior to joining this great fitness family but I did not look fit and I hit a plateau and was stuck for a very long time. Coach Gino’s program truly made the difference. I noticed changes within a couple of weeks. One month into the program, I was hooked…. My body kept changing! Within a couple of months you could see muscle, yes muscle!. The best feeling ever….. and to have coach tell you “I see muscles” just made me want to work harder. While my focus at this point was not to lose weight but gain muscle and strength, I did lose more than 10 pounds during the first 8 weeks. I can tell you today that thank you to coaches Gino and Samantha and hard work on my part, I am stronger, leaner and I can now wear that little black dress with much more confidence. At Vibe Fitness, every member is part of a family not just a number or someone taking a spot in a gym class. Coaches work closely with you to reach your personal fitness goals and are there for you every step of the way. I have now been part of the Vibe Fitness Family for over a year and do not see myself going anywhere else.
“Mother, Wife, Zumba Instructor”
For most of my 41 years, I have not been what you would call an athletic person. A little over year ago, a friend of mine convinced me to try Vibe Fitness with Gino for the month trial and I thought, “I’ll just do it for the trial but I probably won’t like it.” I didn’t expect to make it beyond the month. When I started I was very heavy for my 5’0” frame and I had recently quit smoking after having been a smoker for 20+ years so my lung capacity was greatly diminished. Plus, I used to always say I hated exercise and that it was boring. I had almost no balance, coordination or confidence. During the first sessions, I couldn’t even run to the corner of the building and back without slowing down to walk. After getting through the soreness of the first couple days I not only liked working out with the Vibe Fitness team, I loved it! My goal was to make working out a healthy habit and to be a happy, healthier person overall, not to mention feeling and looking great in new, smaller clothes. I don’t have many “before” pictures to share but I’ve got plenty of progress. I can now run a mile without slowing down to walk (that’s me on the left) and no more hiding when it’s time to take pictures, bring on that camera! I have even met some great new friends. :) But most importantly, thanks to Gino and Sam, for all their dedication and motivation, you guys are definitely an asset to the community.

I was a little intimated at first because “Boot-Camp” sounded like it would be more of a “military” work-out but when I went to my first class, I love it!! It was so much fun. Gino is such a great trainer. The workouts were always different and he worked us in different areas of the body which I loved.
Not only did Gino trained me physically but he also trained my mind. He educated me on nutrition. I learned how just making small changes in my food choices could improve my health and how making those small changes lead to BIG differences in my eating habits. He would send motivation e-mail with great information. I love his motto: “always try to be 1% better every day.”
Since I first started working out with Gino, I have lost about 20 lbs.!!!! (healthy weight loss) I feel great! I have more energy, more confidence, and I love the comments I get from family and friends but the best compliments are from my husband!!
Although, I’m not a current member (due to moving to Central Cal) Gino still keeps me in the loop with his motivational and informational e-mails. I still have some more weight to lose and I know I will get to my goal weight this year along with some other fitness goals like finishing a 5k.
